Michael Haynes lives in Central Ohio. An ardent short story reader and writer, Michael has had stories appear in periodicals such as Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and Nature and also in anthologies such as Deep Cuts, Not Our Kind: Tales of Not Belonging, and Kwik Krimes. He has previously been on the editorial staff of Kazka Press, Goldfish Grimm's Spicy Fiction Sushi, and the Unidentified Funny Objects series of anthologies. He serves as the Vice President of Rainbow Dublin's Board of Directors and enjoys photography, cooking, and travel. He is a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America, the Mystery Writers of America, and the Codex Writer's Group.
